What fire classes are there for fire extinguishers? Below, you will find an overview of all fire classes and the corresponding fire extinguisher. Never be surprised and buy the fire extinguisher that meets your needs.
Remember the following:
- For offices, warehouse, apartments, home use.... without significant additional combustible materials, foam fire extinguishers (fire classes A and B) or powder fire extinguishers (fire classes A, B and C) are used.
- For technical rooms, rooms with valuable (electronic) items and professional kitchens, CO2 fire extinguishers (fire classes B and previously E) are used.
- For French fry shops and home kitchens, mainly ABF foam fire extinguishers (fire classes A, B and F) are used.
