What does the SERVICE light on the CO detector mean?

First, read the manual to make sure the correct battery is installed. If it is, then there is a problem with the sensor and the detector needs to be replaced. It may mean that your CO sensor has reached its maximum lifespan and therefore the detector needs to be replaced integrally.
